"Bee Flower" 21 cm sq. 2008.

Goldwork. Couched Jap Gold thread on canvas background with canvas work border. The 3-dimensional flower is worked in Jap Gold and Tyvek. The flower is based on a gold belt buckle seen in the National Archealogical Museum in Athens.

"Star Flower" 22 cm sq. 2009.

The 3-dimensional flower is worked in Jap Gold, beads and Tyvek. The flower is based on a gold belt buckle seen in the National Archealogical Museum in Athens. The border is canvs work, mounted on black silk fabric.

"Petal Flower" 22 cm sq. 2009.

The 3-dimensional flower is worked in Jap Gold, beads and Tyvek. The flower is based on a gold belt buckle seen in the National Archealogical Museum in Athens. The border is canvs work, mounted on black silk fabric.

"Lydiard House Flower" 30 cm sq. 2010,

 A 3-dimensional flower worked in Jap Gold with beads This is based on an architectural moulding seen at Lydiard House in Swindon. The border is canvas work applied to the silk background.

"Gold Flower with Leaves"  30 cm sq.2010.

A 3-dimensional flower worked in Jap Gold with beads  and Needlelace leaves worked in rayon and gold thread.This was inspired by the wood carvings around the door panels seen at Lydiard House in Swindon. The border is canvas work applied to the silk background.
